Moral Precept # 7 - Seek to Live with the Truth
by L. Ron Hubbard

False data can cause one to make stupid mistakes. It can even block one from absorbing true data.

One can solve the problems of existence only when he has true data.

If those around one lie to him or her, one is led into making errors and his survival potential is reduced.

False data can come from many sources; academic, social, professional.

Many want you to believe things just to suit their own ends.

What is true is what is true for you.

No one has any right to force data on you and command you to believe it or else. If it is not true for you, it isn't true.

Think your own way through things, accept what is true for you, discard the rest. There is nothing unhappier than one who tries to live in a chaos of lies.

And now for the truth

This is another one of the Scientology organization's more embarrassing L. Ron Hubbard writings. The suggestion that one can pretend that something is true just because you want it to be is, of course, one of the ways the Scientology criminal enterprise justifies its criminal activities. Since they don't believe they're committing crimes, then according to L. Ron Hubbard they're not committing crimes. As you may have already seen in the organization's justification of their felony "Operation Snow White" terrorism activities against the United States, the organization believes that the criminal activities they engaged in were for the greater good of humanity and as such were not crimes.

How well does Scientology meet the lofty notion that nobody has a right to force people to believe something? Well, Scientologists aren't told about Scientology's criminal history, nor are they told about the core beliefs of Scientology, nor are they told about the numerous homicides within Scientology at the hands of fellow Scientologists, nor are they informed about L. Ron Hubbard's real war record, his anti-Christian ideologies, his bigamy, his kidnapping of his own daughter, his criminal convictions, and, well, anything truthful about Scientology and his creation.

Scientologists are told about some of it after they pay a great deal of money. The Galactic ruler named Xenu, for instance, and the fact that all of humanity's woes are caused by invisible murdered space aliens called "Body Thetans." Even after they purchase the "right" to know what Scientology is really all about, the lowly follower is never told the truth about the organization's "Guardian Office," also known as their "Office of Special Affairs." The GO/OSA is the branch of the criminal enterprise which is tasked with conducting the racketeering and R.I.C.O predicate acts of the Scientology organization.

Ask a "Volunteer Minister" about why the "truth is what's true for you" and see if they'll justify the terrorist acts of the Islamic fundamentalistagainst the United States in the same way they justify their own terrorist actions against the United States.
